Adverse weather moves Walk to May

Gloucester Rugby in conjunction with their delivery partners for
The Road to 2015 Sponsored Walk have taken the decision to
move the walk planned for this Sunday 9 February to the weekend
of May 3.

This difficult decision has been driven by recommendations
around the safety aspects of event due to poor weather conditions
that are expected. The poor weather currently being experienced
by the county is also forecasted for the coming week which may
mean that the situation will considerably worsen and consequently

resources planned to help manage the event have been deployed to respond to and manage these conditions. Staff at
Gloucester Rugby have, today, walked the route and have identified points along the way which give cause for concern
over participantsí safety and enjoyment so have made the decision based on those key aspects.

The good news is that the walk will now take place on the weekend of May 3 which is Gloucesterís final home game
of the season against London Irish. The Road to 2015 Sponsored Walk will take place prior to the match finishing at
Kingsholm and the match day atmosphere will add a new dimension to the event. Everyone can get involved, raise
money for their own worthwhile causes and then cheer on the team for the final time this season at Kingsholm.

Gloucester Rugby and their event partners apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused by this
unavoidable change. If you have any questions, please contact us.
